@jstokes - yep, that would make perfect sense, I should have ls -a'd under locale and that would have made more sense to have a GB folder in there. My bad, should have thought it through a bit more.....

a bit off topic, What about the clock in the lock screen? can we do changes to it? make the binary clock show instead or something like that?

I've been looking for the default Nseries theme, isn't it located there?

/usr/share/themes/alpha is Nokia Nseries default theme

lockscreen is in the backgrounds folder named

"lockslider.png"

Just use /etc/hildon/theme, it's a symlink to the folder of the theme you have set.
