thy're doing what they can in what ever sparetime they have.. most developers here are not fulltime on maemo dev.. and neither r they hired by nokia.. so its better for you to not complain and instead u should be grateful to them for what they create for the community and thank them...
plus you should learn to ask nicely if you have a question and YOU need help from the community..

Have to say the media player is really bad though. No shuffle mode, messing up album art, stutter, etc. Tried mediabox to get around this issue but has big problem of its own which is that it does not recognise playlists. Ended up switching to my blackberry as my mp3 player which is a disgrace on Nokia's part that a boring device like blackberry does a better job than a 32gb beast.
When I get my N900 back will try the other alternatives mentioned above.

When i hear to certain songs , it stop playing immediately in middle without any information or anything of that sort . I've noticed this happen at times .
