Ooh! I'll have to hit this up when I get home later!

Thank you so much!

I'm sure I'll probably be back asking for help on how to install all of that py junk though, just a heads up. *lol*

My N900 firmware is PR 1.3.
An Outlaw Solitaire update, a few day ago, caused lost of all audio/sound. I uninstalled the Outlaw Solitaire, reboot, then all audio/sound is working again.
Any idias how to fix the audio/sound problem?

That is interesting. Outlaw Solitaire does not implement anything related to sound, since it doesn't use any audio effects.

So basically no clue what is happening.

It could be that this is somehow related to the dependeny packages. You could try to install some other application written with pygame, e.g. Solarwolf, and see if you lose audios after that one also.

Or could it be that this was just some generic PR1.3 bug which was remedied with reboot and you just happened to notice it after installation of Outlaw Solitaire?

You might be right, it might be a bug or a glitch. I reinstalled Outlaw Solitaire and the same thing happened--lost all audio/sound again after rebooting. However what I did different this time was I started Outlaw Solitaire to run for the first time after a new update. Then I rebooted. Now all audio/sounds are back to normal.

So is the scenario like this:

1. Install Outlaw Solitaire
2. Reboot
3. Audios lost
4. Start Outlaw Solitaire
5. Reboot
6. Audios work normally

?

And did you lose all audios? Ringtones and sounds from mediaplayers and games?

I'd like to try this out myself also.

Audios worked fine after every step.

FYI I tried to package this for Maemo4 but when I actually ran the game it loads for 1 second and then crashes.

The title screen loads and then it crashes, here is the terminal output:

Code:

/opt/outlawsolitaire/outlawsolitaire.py:32: RuntimeWarning:
import cdrom: No module named cdrom
  import pygame, os, sys

  import pygame, os, sys

So I'm missing the python libraries: cdrom, joystick and what else?

Do you have the pygame package installed? Seems that for Diablo there is only version 1.7.1 available:

http://maemo.org/packages/view/python2.5-pygame/

I'm not sure if that's recent enough to run Outlaw Solitaire, but you could try it.
