Hey guys, I need a new battery for my N900, and I just had some quick questions on the Mugen 1320mah battery. There's a lot of fake "OEM" BL-5J batteries out there and I just wanted to know if this would be a good alternative. Does anyone have experience with this batter? Is there a significant difference in run-time as apposed to the original Nokia BL-5J.

Thanks

I'd like to know if anyone can compare this with the stock BL-5J from nokia... I'm thinking of picking up a second battery and would like to know if there is a difference.

Too bad there's no middle ground between the monstrous one and the 1320. 1800'ish and a tiny bit thicker would be nice.

Just buy a Japod BL-5J from dealextreme

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.32398

~$9 with free shipping, I cannot tell a difference between the battery life of the original OEM and the Japod one, japod is well regarded.

Grrr.. I just bought a bluetooth keyboard from DX. I think my n900 would like a higher quality battery anyway, I'm stuck between the OEM one and this Mugen. Hope someone around here has tried it.

I have just bought this couple weeks ago and they sent me 1150 mah instead of 1350 mah. I checked in japod website www.japod.net using google translate that there are 2 version japod BL-5j. One for nokia 5800 which is 1350 mah and the other for Chinese Fake Nokia N900 (the 1150 mah).

I tried to order the 1350 mah on another website but the seller told me the 1350mah was not produced anymore.

There is nothing wrong with the 1150mah (don't get me wrong). The 1150mah is good quality but less capacity than the original so dried out faster too.

For chinese battery, I'd rather buy japod or pisen because they are factory made (can be trusted) and have good reputations. Furthermore, they are cheaper than original. With the price of the original you can buy 4 of these batteries(good deal huh?)

Since Japod 1350mah is rare, I order 2 pisen BL-5j 1250 mah. 1250mah seems decent value (not exaggerating like 1930 mah) . The original one also detected around 1250mah in n900.

Description of Pisen battery => http://www.pisen-store.com/mobile-ph...5j-p-3286.html

On a side note, I found this:

Many reviews clam it to be a real genuine Nokia battery, can anyone here confirm? If it it, I might go for that one, great price!
