I have 1 more request, is it possible if we could fit the first 4 opened apps in the two column task switcher nicely onto the screen.

like would it be easy just to shrink each window a bit so the bottom and top are evenly spaced? know what i mean? >.<!!!!

You know what's better than one patch? A whole bunch of them merged together
Faster scrolling + all previous fixes + Matan's patches + thp's patches:
Two-column: http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/...+0m5_armel.deb
Single-column: http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/...+0m5_armel.deb

Read about MHD here: http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/repo/Mo...n_Desktop.html

I'll look into gconf later on

In that case, the fix is quite simple, however if you share a binary of an LGPL'd package, you also have to share its source, so please post the patch against the original source package as well or the complete source tree if you are not able to create a patch.

I must say I sure hope Meego will not only use the single-column variant. I much prefer the overview of running programs to the extra detail.
(not that I am asking anyone to make it, I'm happy enough with the default, but three columns would be perfect for me)

On a related subject, what about patching the behaviour of the task switcher so that it always comes up, even if there are no programs running? Then you could always simply double-click to get to the programs menu. As you know, if you do so now without programs running, you're back on the homescreen.

Thanks for the excellent work.
If we can get to choose which one to use. Could you also add the column so normal? As normally used by the N900.

I would like to have an ability to customize the size and margins of the thumbnails (or just a quick fix that solves the following situation).

I very often use the task switcher to see my calendar and some other application at the same time to quickly check for free time slots (with the 2-column version). Because I actually want to read text from the thumbnails, I want them to be as big as possible with minimal screen space wasted on margins between them. In my case the fix could be to just change some hard-coded values in the sources to minimize margins and enlarge the thumbnails, but I'm sure not everyone wants this, so the configurability would be the more generic solution.

Yup, it is simple. Just an if statement with else. How do you create patches? Do you somehow compare it to git or you have two folders to create a comparison. Btw same goes for Mohammad.

I made some further modifications. I made it The single thumbnail bigger than when there are two. I wanted to make "switch-friendly" but couldn't figure out why if statement doesn't work for #define. So, I just changed #define values.

Rename attachment to .rar. Forum doesn't allow to upload .rar for some reason.
