Hey guys!
I need help please, it's an urgent case!
I used the tricks to overclock my CPU, well, the max is 1150000 and min is 125000. I thought I could change it again anytime. I could, but now, after a reboot everything's messed up!
I sometimes do crazy things, don't think I'm a GNU/Linux noob though!
Well, another thing I've done which might be related, is copying the contents of the /etc/profile I had on my PC after installing ash, to /etc/profile on my N900.
I'm not sure if this is related to the problem anyway.
A few minutes ago, I downloaded QCPUFreq, it was working fine. I could see changes when I changed the speed that way.
But then, I changed the permissions of /sys/devices/.../cpufreq/cpuinfo_max... and min... I'm not sure if this is the reason.
Before I do this, I couldn't edit those files as root either, I mean after the reboot I mentioned, but QCPUFreq was working. Now everything is messed up! I can't edit the file as root, although I should be able to... I know the permissions... And QCPUFreq is not working either.
I need help please, it's an urgent case!
