I noticed that when connecting with wifi, actually gives the address in the router, not the REAL address which is used to navigate. I hope I could explain myself correctly.
I would like a widget showing the IP used. I give you an example: now while I am writing, personal ip address is saying that my address is 10.10.0.1. I think this value is meaningless.

If your using the same Personal IP address widget that I'm using then it does display the N900's WiFi IP address.

Your personal IP address isn't meaningless if you want to ftp or ssh into your phone. You need the IP address of your device to do that.

If you are talking about your External IP address, then that is possible, however I don't know how. I'd suggest a QBW would be the way it is done. I have seen a number of screenshots of people's devices with both local and external IP addresses shown on their desktop.

Yes I would like the external ip address. Is there an easy way to have it? QBW looks complicate to be used.

You could install Desktop Command Execution Widget and use one of the scripts in the following guide:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Desktop_Comman...rnal_.28LAN.29

Section 2.2 gives the commands to show both the external (WAN) and internal (LAN) IP addresses.

One way to discover the "externa" IP address is libnice, however the version in Fremantle doesn't handle IPv6. If you have to use an HTTP request, http://ip6.me/ or http://ip.help.me.uk/ support both protocols.

BTW, according to the package page, the right place to submit enhancement requests is here.
