Delivery has started as of July per this page.
http://wetab.mobi/en/events
It also shows first mass delivery in September so maybe I'll just pre-order from amazon.de

Wow? This has got to be the most annoying review ever? I know what I'm saying, but it also has to end like a question? But I am holding a cool tablet, so you will keep watching me?

Sorry :P I've had many native German-speaking friends who don't speak english like this!

X2. This looks great... Uh oh. So much for saving for new mobo, audio card, and speaker system...

EDIT: But I am tempted to wait. Will Nokia be making tablet-hardware paired with MeeGo OS?

It's Meego, am I the only one thinking apps? support?

It's Nokia and Intel together on an OS. Intel have never released an OS to market and Nokia released Maemo. Hardly something to shout about.

Yet people are raving about it already and it is yet to survive the wild.

Then again.

http://www.androidpads.co.uk/wetab-android-os-pad/ (sounds like it was based on prototypes)
http://www.frequencycast.co.uk/wetab.html
http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/3298...ng-out-in-july (mentions android prototypes)

They cast doubt on it being Meego anyway, so perhaps I might take a look with android on board. If the prototypes actually run android it won't be long till someone releases official android. Which means an app store and support.

Perhaps in a few months you can choose your OS when you buy it. That would be nice.

Android is included as a VM.
Heat: You can use it in direct sunshine on a hot summer day without problems, thanks to:
noise: there is a fan built-in which will only turn on if needed. I haven't heard it once.
battery life: depends of course on the usage. count with 6 to 8 hours surfing the web over 3G or WLAN.
