Also, a "killall hildon-desktop" as root should be enough rather than rebooting the phone.

Is there any word on whether this has been optified and packaged yet? I just scored a $50 mp3 gift card for Amazon and this app looks like a great use for it. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
sorry for reviving this dead thread here,
but just to let you know - I'm currently working on an amazon download app called mamz.
It's currently able to download Songs from Amazon.de, it's not yet polished though and i couldn't test this with other Amazon stores, so don't expect any bling bling or miracles.
You can find it at garage.maemo.org/projects/mamz
Oh, before I forget: You need to download tinyxml and extract it to the folder libs/tinyxml for it to compile. I'll bundle tinyxml later or maybe change it to qt's xml parser. I don't know yet.

Unfortunately my network connection inside scratchbox seems to be broken atm, and I did not yet create a current n900-build, so no covers on display in the last screenshot, only nice "cover missing"-icons.
Now, enough thread hijacking for the moment, I'll open a new one for mamz soon.
