The N900 being between #5 and #10 in the charts of "most popular Nokia devices" seems to be a pattern. See here:

The Ovi Store statistics are particularly interesting, though... After all, there's not much content there for the N900 compared to a Symbian device.

Thought that this was interesting....I suppose it depends upon where the N900 is available but seems reasonably popular in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and US.
