Does any one have a fix for this, when I try to log in at the local coffee shop
I get this message ( Browser does not support redirects!)

Opera in my N800 and 770 has no problem with t-mob hotspots and other pay-per-day services- both updated to latest "official" firmware. Have you checked your options settings?

Both browsers support redirects. Perhaps the site you're using is doing it in a non-standard way.

My N800 works just fine in Starbucks in Europe, America, and Kuwait.
As well as Caribou Coffee in Kuwait as well. Methinks it's a setting in the browser.
Which browser are you using, the micro-b one or the Opera one?
If it's micro-b switch to Opera and vice-versa. If it's just Opera, make sure Javascript is enabled as some wi-fi providers use it on their login pages.

I know what you're talking about though, sometimes it seems as if the browser on my N95 does the same thing...keeps going right back to the login page AFTER being told "welcome to the internet blah blah blah" from the login page.

Maybe this is related to HTTP referer information, which the browser doesn't send by default.
