Maybe some people were expecting too much for this "new" Ovi store update? Personally I thought we'd get a revamped, more userfriendly layout/interface and in addition with that a larger number of application available. Maybe even and end of the "beta" status of our versions Ovi store.

But I am still looking curiously forward to what is about to come next there and still crossing finger or sending prayers for a very decent, paid calendar solution.

Although you are right about 3rd party developers not being guilty, Nokia was clearly incompetent on get Ovi Store working for N900... Most of us saw the various failed tests they did with paid content since the store was available.

I am sure this delay made a lot of 3rd party developers to give up on Maemo 5 and N900. Check the history from the Sygic thread to see company representatives complaining about Nokia Ovi Store... and you saw what happened, they gave up waiting and started selling through their own website.

Well it look like that's it folks Ovi store is considered updated , just got reply from Ovi on facebook

more apps will come eventually but i think they gave up UI update , what a surprise

Just downloaded Level pack 2 and QP Pro! Pretty cool. Cant wait for the rest.

Charged it on my card and i am from the USA if anyone needs to know. I didnt do anything special at all to down load them.

peter, how about explaining nokia awfull policy of announcing things and then not explaining delays?

Hi all!
I downloaded the 1 level pack of Angry Birds, Im from Mexico btw, and I have no problems to paid for the game.

I paid 20 mexican pesos which is about 1.26 euros!!!!
