My browser got stuck when it was loading a page with a lot of java and flash ads. Ater that it does not show any pages. I get "updating" without anything else. Menu opens and I can see all the items from windows to close but none of the sub menu items function. For example I can not get the setting window.

My tablet is N800, I have OS2008 version: 4.2008.36-5

I am able to connect to wifi, can download and install applications, my rss feed reading program updates feeds without problems, but I can not open any web page either online or offline.

I don't know why your browser has that problem, but why not update to the latest OS by flashing. It ought to fix your problem, and it's generally better. Back up first. And maybe afterward, install FlashBlock.

Thank you for the advise. But isn't there a way to just fix the browser program without taking the OS update option?
