Whatīs the difference between updating the N900 using the Nokia Software Updater and the Maemo Flasher 3.5?
NSU flash the complete hardware to brand-new-factory-device-state and them restores your user data (phone numbers, messages etc) or not? Maemo Flasher do that but seems to be a bit dangerous cause i can brick the N900, so i was wondering if NSU do the same in safe conditions.
My phone makes some extrange things, thatīs what i want to complete flash it. Any sugerences?

Both of them will remove applications and contacts, so be sure to backup.
Files in MyDocs will not be touched unless you flash the eMMC image.
Flasher unbricks a device, it doesn't brick it (NSU OTOH, does it sometimes, but it can be unbricked)
