N900 was added to RDA (Remote Device Access) - http://apu.ndhub.net/devices

N900 added to service. This is still work in progress (in RDA regard): orientation change does not work, some buttons may not work etc.

RDA is one of the neatest things I've ever seen when I was working as a QA specialist. It allows you to connect and physically use a phone to test your applications remotely on the real hardware. This means not needing to buy a ton of phones. Video output is grabbed directly from the framebuffer and pushed across the internet.

The sad thing is that RDA was always VERY expensive anyways to the point that we just decided it was more cost-effective to buy the devices.

Registering to Forum Nokia is free and I believe the RDA service is free to Forum Nokia members.

Hey guys,
maybe everybody is already aware that two N900 proto units have been added to RDA. In case not, just check the RDA page and reserve some time to test your apps on the N900! But you REALLY need to be patient because the run for the units is huge! i was able to reserve 2h in the late eveing of 7. oktober!

For everyone who didn't know: RDA is nokias (R)emote (D)evice (A)ccess service which allows developers to test stuff on real hardware connected via some kind of vnc(?) rather than just an emulator!

I won't be using it, but very cool that they have that setup.
