Peek is apparently looking for a "linux guru" to port Linux to their devices.

Seems like this could be an opportunity for the Mer team...

ARM9TDMI, low RAM, MMU-less, 104mhz. We're not going to get anything sane running on it sadly :/

Aw. Too bad. It could have been an interesting place for Mer or Maemo to land.

I wonder how much effort it would take to get them to upgrade a few things, if it meant an easier port of various linuxes.

Does it make a difference if they're actually on an ARM7TDMIE as opposed to ARM9TDMI?

That probably makes it worse. Current tablet are ARM9 right? And OMAP3 is ARM11?

The current tablets are ARM11, and OMAP3 is ARM Cortex A8.

Yeah, sorry - typo from my side. It's 7, and a MMU-less one.
