I must say it again, now that the metal cover and adapter kit is ready and selling the metal cover will not fit the extended Mugen battery. The Mugen batteries requires a cover that is over 7mm thick. My cover is 4.7mm total.

The adapter with the metal cover can be purchased here http://www.remotefactory.com/cravesone.html
thanks

Dude, I like the mod, but you really need a cover that fits the Mugen extended battery. It's kinda pointless (at least for me) to have to choose between either using the extended mugen battery (and it's sucky plastic cover, ugh) *or* using this mod and being forced back to the regular battery. I want the strength of the stainless steel cover, I want the mod, *AND* I want the mugen battery. So we need a stainless steel cover that's deep enough to cover both. You really ought to consider selling a stand alone stainless steel cover (or have it as an option on the existing kit) for those who have the Mugen extended batteries, *and* your mod. I know I'd snatch one up if you offered it.

I know how many Mugen battries that was sold for the N810 tablet. It was not enough to pay for the expense of the setup cost of a thicker metal cover.

There are already many people who are using the Mugen extended battery that already purchased the adapter without the metal cover.
http://www.remotefactory.com/32gbn810sd.html They have to use the plastic cover. Also if I sell enough of these kits I will consider making a thicker cover but so far it has cost me more than I expect to get back.
So anyone who wants one should buy as soon as possible there is a limited quantity of these metal covers. If I do not recover the cost I will move to my next project.

Thanks

The SD adapter kit with the Black metal door is now available here

There will only be about 100 Black covers since I hear that the WiMax version is on its way out. The Stainless Steel will still be available but also in limited quantities for now.

Thanks

Don't know if this has been written in this thread. Instead of adding a SD reader, would it be possible to add a HSPDA/EDGE card in its place?

Chester - You never sent me a black cover to evaluate

However, I would still like to order one of your kits with the black cover. but....i want a spare black cover, so how much for a sd card kit with two black covers instead of one???

Thanks in advance.
