Have ordered a G1 from T-Mobile but does it have Bluetooth Pan so I can use it as a modem for my N810? If it does n't have Bluetooth Pan how can I connect to my N810? Yes I do have a data contract Web n Walk Max plus Flext35 with T-Mobile in the UK. Giving G1 my T-Mobile Sim to Nephew to use in his Pay as You Go T-Mobile phone as he is always running out of credit. I have agreed to pay for his contract whilst he is at college. I will use my data contract/voice package contract Sim with T-Mobile in the G1.

Any ideas how to use G1 as a modem?

Ps My current smartphone is an HP IPAQ 614c with Windows Mobile 6 so have no issues with Bluetooth Pan but it looks like an issue with the G1??

It looks like this could be an option at some point, just not now, with this phone. Still, I find the G1 has changed my 'need' to tether to my N810.
