Can anyone tell me where I can download PyBluez for the NIT?
Thanks for your consideration.

Looks like you can find it here:
http://code.google.com/p/pybluez/

Thanks for the reply Craig.

Yeah, I saw that site and I did download it. But I can't manage to install it. After I unpack the tar, and I try to run
Code:
python setup.py
X-term tells me
Code:
 ImportError: No module named distutils.core
Maybe I should have asked if someone could tell me how to install PyBluez, although I was hoping someone might just point me to one of those Maemo friendly sites where I can install with one click. Anyone?

I don't think think this is going to happen. From reading the documentation, it looks like PyBluez is a binding for specific c libraries that don't exist on maemo.

I haven't used easy; but I think it accomplishes the same goal, and it's built for maemo.

PyBluez is in the extras repository and the package is called python2.5-bluez: http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...ree/p/pybluez/

Thanks Yerga. It turns out I already have the Bluez. Now if I can just figure out how to use it. . .

Easy looks really cool. Does anyone have any experience using it? I installed it, but I can't seem to get any of the example scripts to run.
