I purchased my N800 in November of 2007 and instantly fell in love with the device. My main usage is FBReader and the occasional Google lookup when tethered to my Treo, away from my home network.

However, after about a month, I noticed that the screen was horribly marred with scratches, and I had never used anything but the supplied stylus or my fingertips on the device. It also developed "bubbles" underneath the surface of the LCD. Not good.

At any rate, I sent it back to Nokia for repair on 03/30/2008. Today, it arrived back with the screen totally replaced, looking as pristine as when I first unboxed it.

Kudos to Nokia for the swift repair. I'll be applying a screen protector and hope that my problem was a defective screen.
