I'm unable to find above package. I've enabled extras and extras-devel but ontly thing available is version 1.02.

Installing nelisquare also dies on not having the qt-components...

Yes I have.
I just had my N900 wiped last wednesday and since then I've spent lot of time to get it back to acceptable condition. Installing CSSU was one of the steps.

fremantle1.2 ovi, fremantle ssu mr0 and fremantle ssu apps repositories are disabled at the moment. Is one them required?

are needed for base qt packages.
Best way is to install nelisquare from devel-extras (make sure that 0.5.1+ version is pulled) using apt-get, then install tweetian from deb, and uninstall nelisquare.
Also meegothemefix package will be needed if you will have red-icons problem.
You can also post terminal output if any error occurs.

With the help of nice people on IRC, I was able to directly download the qt-compat.. package. Installed it and all the dependancies.
Now I'm off to check the tweetian

.

PS. For unknown reason, my phone just didn't find the package though the same repositories were active as another person had while he could locate the package...

may be some of `apt-get update` actions were not properly performed.

Version 1.8.1-maemo2 released.
Download. Head post also updated.

You have to install this version twice (i.e. install, remove, install again), so the post remove script will be executed
or manually delete the following folders(all settings will be reseted):

Code:

/home/user/.local/share/data/Tweetian
/home/user/.thumbnails/tweetian

This should fix your background crashes.

Damn. I have to report that it doesn't fix them at least on my n900.

I did remove the two config/cache directories prior and have rebooted to see if that would clear it up, but it didn't help.

If you want to have debug info or logs or something from my phone, I'm available.

Thanks for the update; I can't see the icons of below in Tweetian, only the icons of above. I have meegothemefix installed and Nelisquare from extras-devel too. Changing the background from dark to light does not work with the issue I have.
