i've been running a different version of adblockplus for a while. it's a slightly newer version than from garage, i just modified the required version a ittle to get it to work. It still has issues though.
it would be nice to see Alopex gain support for modern add ons so we could use an up to date, bug fixed, performance optimized version.

That's one funny bug:
What is less funny, is that upon entering directory, modest *really* tries to load 1080520033 unexisting messages, which makes it hang for hours (basically, 'till killed) at 90% CPU usage.
No idea how to reproduce, sadly, but seems related (at least by timeline) with modest&co bugs, that manifested themselves lately.

I think we reused some his FOSS code in CSSU, but he left Maemo community before CSSU was created. And who working on CSSU? Look at gitorious packages on: https://gitorious.org/community-ssu
