I just made my own project and don't understand why some people are whining about this.
Whatsup is Qt/C++ and it's doesn't use wazapp protocol. I've started from zero and the only person who helps me was Scorpius with some protocol problems I had when I made it.

If only you knew the code I've seen and comments I've seen.
Main UI contributor? Sure... When message bubble had 9 Image components to load instead of 1 BorderImage. Inefficient loops, wrong signals...
I guess for most of you apps grow on trees. But when something doesn't work, everybody wonders why...
Take my word for it, I know why.
Duct tape code.
Sure! But that doesn't means my work was pure ****.
Wazapp had a lot of bugs when I started to contribute.
And you should better shut up, cause the only thing you did was send me emails asking me to do this and that, because you don't know how to do things.
And about UI... I'm wondering how did you make Soundwave UI so different than Dropian UI, that really sucks. Maybe my bad QML code was not so bad after all...

BTW: 14 EUR for a music recognition app? Forget it!

Can we close it here? I have used both and both are awesome & works well. Though my N9 is dead now (hardware issue) I would love to use both versions.

Now I am using OpenWhatsapp for BB10 from Tgalal which is now named as OpenWA due to legal issues. That app have some amazing and new features but that don't make wazapp or whatsup a bad app.

Please chill out man and I know cepi is defending his work and contribution made to wazapp. One should respect that back then those new feature introduced by cepi were mostly loved by users and the amendments made to those make what wazapp is now.

Chill out guys.. Love you all developers....

Cheers

I understand Cepi's reaction because he's been quiet for a long time about these bad comments of his work.

I respect both devs and hope they can continue their contributions to our community respecting each other. Peace, men!

the last two that i remeber are:

you can hide your conversation with your contact with password,

at the same time, if you are talking with your lover, and your girfriend comes into the room, with a shake of your phone the conversation hides itself...

puls you can add a different ringtone to each contact...

cheers!

I’ve been having a problem with sending messages: even when I’m online on Wazapp, messages I send (both to individuals and groups) just disappear – they neither appear on the screen, nor are they received on the other end.

This does not happen all the time… Sometimes the messages do get sent, sometimes they don’t.

Often this issue arises in the middle of a conversation, without me having changed anything that could have caused it.

Quitting wazapp and relaunching it does not solve the problem.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated.
I am experiencing the exact same problem.
But further on, I uninstalled and reinstalled without solution.

Worse, I uninstalled again, purged Wazapp completely and after reinstalling Wazapp shows init screen and doesn't launch anymore.
I even deleted Whatsapp account and succesfully registered again.

I was about to lose faith when found this post.

I am operating under Telcel in México.
Please, HELP
