Cheers for the help

i wernt too sure what you meant by that post though govprog

do you mean go into app manager and update it?

Go to the app manager, select it's name(top menu). When it's loaded, click on the application catalogs. If the app manager requires you to connect to the internet, then connect. Let the update process to be completed. And after that, check if you have the extras-devel (and it's enabled).Also it's good to report us if any problem happens during the task.

great extras-devel wasnt in my catalogues for some reason!

last time i flashed it i used the same method but extras-devel was fine

thanks for the help govprog

after "apt-get install preenv"

after apt-get update...

plss need help to install preenv.. so i can download webOS ASAP need help

Download the package from here, and install it using dpkg -i path/to/file/preenv*.deb (as root)

NO such file or directory..

after download, i copy and paste it to my n900..

hahaha, check the path in where you saved the file and replace /path/to/file with it . If your default directory is MyDocs, then
Code:
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/preenv*.deb
, if you're unsure in where is the package you just downloaded, type
Code:
find / -name *preenv*.deb
as root.
