wtf! Whatsapp Inc. should hire Scorpius for developing for maemo OS instead of blocking and changing encryption. i wonder if porting Viber to N900 will reserve the same treatment...

Whatsapp is really important for me, but I can make do with the Facebook chat via Jabber for the time being, so I'll survive without switching away from the N900. I still hope this gets solved soon - I've sent a few bucks to Scorpius to show my gratitude for what he's done so far and as encouragement. :P

Wazapp is working. So maybe Yappari login can be fixed easier than we think or WhatsApp has not blocked Wazapp yet.

I got a "dirty" fix that will last days if not hours. I wish I'd be a millionaire so I wouldn't need a job and I could crack and code faster... I haven't even tested it fully on my phone, just in the scratchbox:

The WhatsApp Inc. block IS COMING. We need to migrate to the new encryption algorithm before it happens.
