I also bought my phone from Honk Kong. The phone seems to be refurbished but the seller marked it as new. The accessories are fake, the phone was bought from ebay.com-cellphoneforever

.
After running fmtx-faker-tool set-fmtx-mode other/75 , i had to run the following commands

sudo gainroot
killall fmtxd
fmtxd -d

Can anyone explain the different options available :- other/75 , fcc/

After a restart ,the FM transmitter is again disabled ,i have to i/p the cmds again to enable FM . Is this hack temporary?

just wanted to say thanks for the fmtx app. I just recently purchased a n900 again and had the fm transmitter locked ( which was one of my favorite features when I had my first n900) so I just wanted to say thanks for making it possible to again use one of my fav features
