i cant boot into nitdroid

it says root filesystem mmcb1k0p2 NOT available

This may be a typo in your multiboot startup item. There is no mmcb1k0p2 with one in it, instead mmcblk0p2 with a small L in it.

Ammyt i bought my n900 3months ago and ever since i have been trying to install andriod in my phone,but everything i try lead me to a dead end. I am a novice but i believe if i follow ur post my problem will be solve. I have downloaded your installation file for beta3 but i notice ur download link for n14 and n13 are wrong,and i dont know how to download it manually.pls help me with d download link

Use the automated installer from Ammyt.Its way lot easier that way if you are inexperienced with the operation of the terminal.....

hi guys,

1ST of all thanks for effort you making but i see no point from having nitroid on my n900 as i can't make calls,i had to reboot on maemo each time i wanna make calls which drains my battery

nitdroid's for games and some bragging rights (look! my phone has Android too!)
at least that's what its purpose was for me when i still had it.
i'm waiting for the ICS update before trying it out again.

We all know there are no phone calls, there's no need to go over it again

Did you ever install the previous NIT?
Save the file in MyDocs or Internal N12_UMay.tar.bz2
Enable the repository,
open your x-terminal
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get install nitdroid-installer
type the command Y
exit
sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
dpkg -i NITDroid-Installer_0.2.8-8.deb
close your x-terminal
CLICK android icon in the menu wait to finished.
