Hello Folks:

I have a N800 with OS2008 and Google maps do not load in browser.

Maps on the Weather Network will not load in the browser, either.

There are plenty of videos on youtube showing this working.

Has the move to OS2008, caused the problem. Anyone else experiencing this map issue.

Thanks in advance
Al
Yes, so simple thanks - in view, uncheck Fit width to zoom

Google maps works fine for me, although maemo mapper displays the maps better (i.e. fullscreen). What problem are you seeing?

I also used to have problems with Google Maps displaying properly, but then I found that nearly all of my browser problems were caused by "Fit width to view".

Once I disabled that feature, web pages started appearing properly and Google Maps works, though the dynamic features are a little slow.

Google maps didn't work for me until I installed maptile-loader.
