I looked at the first comment and it talks about the op PR1.1 kernel.

I tried wading through the comments in this thread and all the talk about building the kernel made me believe that its still a work in progress.

Can you or jalyst please update the first comment so that noobs like me can get to the open mode PR 1.2?

I used this one from joergw: zImage-2.6.32.48-dfl61-20115101

As I wrote above, I flashed the PR1.2 open kernel successfully last night, and I can report that PR1.2 Open Mode works well.

same kernel, with patches applied compiled by myself (was before joergrw release, but I think the credp mods is not in his)

So does your kernel boot ok and where is diff -ur against original kernel sources?

Yes, it boots no problems if you flash according to instructions (same as for 1.1, first flash firmware + emmc, then flash kernel - without reboot between)

Did you flash your n950 or n9?
