so i flash the official 2008 &try to install some file,such as ukmp and canola2,why do i always get the message 'install file corruptef'?

i've fixed the problem. it's a spelling mistake. very stupid...

Not really. It's a temporary solution for a server side problem. Quite sad that they haven't been able to solve it before christmas. Imagine getting a N8xx for christmas and all the frustrations of not being able to install some of all the cool apps.

and those flashing there "old" ready set up 2007 for the first fancy 2008 release, and get the apps back on. well i'am glad we have a "solution" untill the guys from Nokia get back to work

i don't understand... why isn't the latest system compatible with previous softwares? windows vista supports most of the softwares from windows xp, which makes it easier to use. everytime new system comes out, new software has to be developped, isn't it a great waste of time and resource?

ehe12, you can't possibly compare the Windows world with the maemo world. Maemo has nowhere near the adoption, usage or third party support-- yet.

Hi..Am trying to update OS2008 in my N800. I get the following Error.Please help me..
"Cannot connect to Internet for automatic Update. Please check your proxy settings..."
Please assist me as i am not technical guy and not able to understand..thanks a lot.
