Sorry, my fault. The path I posted is for user specific files like the ones I had experimented with. That's why I remembered it.

It would seem no one bothered to file a bug. So I filed 24353. If one of the thread posters had filed a bug and I failed to find it, please close 24353 as duplicate.

We are fixing this bug #24353 within the next few days. It takes an update of the client package and some changes on server side.

Then it's a different .desktop file causing the problems.
Btw. the apps.formeego.org apps client doesn't include this one .desktop file anymore since a few weeks.

okay I dont have that file, but I did reset (restore settings) and it fixed it

for me it was a problem with .desktop file related to 'Calendar Feed' app. It was set to hide the icon but for some reason the green icon was always showing instead. I just allowed the icon to show and now i have a beautiful 'Calendar Feed' icon in its place

Not really a solution, but I found I got this icon after installing Calendar Feed from the Ovi store. remove the app and it goes away, but I can't see any other way or getting rid of it.
