That's why I had my SIM replaced for a Micro-SIM already in September, just be on the safe side

Just playing with my black 16GB version, got it today morning. Ou yeah...

Only problem is the missing calendar sync with Outlook via USB as Ovi Suite does not recognize, but that was expected. Had to sync calendar first to my old E71 and then to N9 from there via bluetooth.

I was in fear that I'd have to wait for my contract upgrade to get the N9 and now my upgrade is here and there is no N9 yet. It's already hard to know I could have a shiny new gadget today, thankfully there is no device on the market now I'm dying for. However if the Note appears first it will be too hard to resist.

about being free with N9:
http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...g/n9-developer

"The current public device image for N950 was released on 2011-08-30. The image is contains the week 34 release of the platform. The one click flasher-tool to update the device is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X environments. A device image and tooling for N9 will be made available as well, and both of them will evolve as the corresponding updates are published for the devices."

So I guess that even if flashing another kernel, we can go back to official image (for instance for warranty).

Actually can ask the shop to cut the sim for you, if purchasing from dealer/reseller

Actually, you can sync it directly with your Outlook over Bluetooth if you use Windows 7, as I described in this post:

I think it works even with previous windows versions, provided... that you have bluetooth on your PC
