I've registred times ago at nokia.ch and nokia.at to get an email, when it will be available.

Got now finally the answer with the following searching engine for Switzerland

Why are people shocked about the camera? The n9's hardware was below the elites from its announcement. I thought it was the design and meego/harmattan everyone was after...

with regards to the picture quality on the N9

Take a look at some pics already posted.

Thanks to Slai for taking those pics, my personal fav is the bottom 1.

the thing to ask yourself is: Was the camera on the n900 good enough for the pictures you wanted to take? if yes then the n9 camera is more then enough. if you find you need an amazing camera then the n8 is for you. for me i was able to take some decent pics on the n900 and the n9 will be good enough for me. but i'm more into the phone side of things and instant messaging.

Which of the SGSII's camera specs are better than the N9's?
Jay seems to think it's single led is much brighter (at least anecdotally), so it may have an advantage in low light.*
But what else about it specs led you to believe it would've been better?

*Then again the N9 has a bigger aperture!

below the elites? the only elite is the n8.
I certainly expect the camera to be much better than most current android phones. And I guess it is, maybe they have not figured out the software part yet.

It did in videos (compass)
Not sure about closing to last view.

Don't worry, it is a small workaround in the latest Firmware update which makes sure that the software does not do what a Windows Phone does not support

They should hade wipet it out long way ago!

the new Anna on C7 is freezing. the core apps hangs some time and so on.

also my boss who I gave a tip to go for E7 cause its a bussinesphone. But it seems to be a bigmistake cause he also has problems with the phone.
I would rather keep this out of the thread since it is out of topic BUT
again, UI != OS and while I agree that it isn't the best mobile OS, I disagree that it is the worst.

Can't wait for actual user reviews of the N9!
