-sh: /home/user/.bashrc: line 5 cannot create /dev/cgroup/cpu/user/1467/notify_on_release: nonexistent directory"

I looks like speedpatch isn't fully uninstalled. Maybe because I first used the .sh files and later the .debs. What should I do to fully uninstall it?

I would suggest:

root
apt-get install --reinstall speedpatch

reboot x 2

then:

root
fapman

and uninstall via fapman.

Following that you might want to think about doing

root
apt-get autoclean
apt-get autoremove

Yep well impressed with it, mine stays on all the time - albeit silent at night - I get 2 days and thats without any battery patches or voltage saving stuff.

Usually mine goes on charge every night, but the other night I ended up staying at a friends and going straight from there in the morning to a callout and it was nice not to have to panic about battery life...I still had loads left.

Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install leafpad
cp /etc/event.d/speedpatch /etc/event.d/speedpatch2
leafpad /etc/event.d/speedpatch
you will see at line 6 :

Code:
start on MOUNTS_OK
change it to

Code:
start on started hildon-desktop
save and reboot

I now get an error when trying to install speedpatch via xterm.

/home/user # apt-get install --reinstall speedpatch

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or

I think I got an empty leafpad file. Probably because I uninstalled speedpatch.

I would suggest you check your repositories. Namely: Fremantle Extras-devel free armel

Ok now i removed the non-kp bat patch and installed 1.9-7.. been using it for 12 hours now my n900 is workin like a charm.. vdd1/2=1 , min500 max 750 no reboots .. and noticeable less bat consumption. need more time to decide if i should go back to the non-kp

A few questions....

After the installation of batterypatch my max cpu suddenly is 750 why is that?

And what if I wanted to change this tot 600 or 700? What for effect will this have on batterypatch?

And what is the best way to change this? Editing the overclock file or using xterm?

Thanks in advance..

I did this and rebooted the device maybe 5 times, and the error in x-terminal never showed up. Then I rebooted again and the error was there again.
Before applying the above the error would usually show up on every other reboot, meaning that if I ever rebooted the device I had to reboot it once more to get rid of the error and get the effects of speed patch (its mainly the QtLockscreen delay removal I use speedpatch for). I really cant understand why this error shows up completely randomly, and it sadly makes the patch somewhat unusable in my case.
