It seems the standard has been decided on(xmpp) it is just each company is fearful of interoperating with others
supposed to be released on all Samsung sets in the future.
Who wants to bet this is based on xmpp + pubsub?
Grrrrrr, why can't they all just federate for crying out loud! Props to gtalk, which already does)
