Hi I'm having a bit of trouble with the notes app.
I get an internal error when I try to open the app, it started earlier when notes hung on me and I had to end task.

I tried to run notes again, no joy, rebooted, still nothing, deleted the file that was open, still nothing.

If I run osso_notes from terminal I get the following:

Code:
~ $ osso_notes
init_osso:326: start
settings_get_schema_alt:234: Getting key /apps/osso/fontconfig/font_scaling_factor value as schema
settings_get_int:108: Getting key /apps/osso/osso-notes/restore_type value as int
settings_get_string_alt:196: Getting key /apps/osso/osso-notes/font_face value as string
settings_get_int_alt:158: Getting key /apps/osso/osso-notes/font_size value as int
settings_get_string_alt:196: Getting key /apps/osso/osso-notes/last_save value as string
settings_get_string_alt:196: Getting key /apps/osso/osso-notes/last_open value as string
Aborted
Any idea how I can get notes to not try to open this previous file on startup?

Thanks

apt-get remove
apt-get purge

reboot

apt-get install

I still get the error.

Is there a database I need to delete in order to get this working again?

for future notice, delete

/home/user/.osso/osso-notes

then re-install

I hate to bring up a really old thread like this, but this may also help future reference.
The notes are stores in /home/user/MyDocs/.documents.
The directory mentioned here (the one you need to delete) contains the config, last-open-file, and stuff like that. It's stafe to delete it.
(You can also backup your notes from the directory I mentioned, they're plain HTML).
