I installed this application, Linux kernel updater (kernel power 2.6.28.10) in order to over-clock my N900, but when I reboot my device after successful installation, my device is unable to boot. The 5 white dots running back and forth till either the battery runs down or it turns off by itself. Have gone to several places to flash my device. The people I met have battled in vain to flash it. I cant use my device any longer. Can someone please help me out?

Hi dude
Have checked the link U directed me, what is contained there is too technical for me to understand as a newbie. Can U please take it step by step?

My brother sent it to me from China, the IMEI no is 356938030505508 which region files in the list should I download?

I would really appreciate you mail me direct, b.efiong@gmail.com

Sorry, dude, I do not intend to sound discouraging, in fact I am trying to help you. The link vi_ has supplied provides more detailed step-by-step instructions than anyone could give you in an online forum. If that is too difficult for you, then I am afraid you may not be up to flashing it yourself. I suggest taking it, with the link that vi_ gave you, to someone more technical.

Another thing, it is usually frown upon to demand an email answer to your question on an online forum. I suggest you read this page in its entirety, it will help you in the future.

I have tried severally in vain to flash my phone. One of the issues which keep repeating itself is a system notification which says "USB NOT RECOGNIZED".

However when i held the U key on my N900 and plug it in, d deem screen appeared with the usb symbol on the top right corner, but when i opened the Command Prompt and type in those strings of command as directed, this is what I got:

It should be 'flasher-3.5.exe', don't forget the dot.
Best wishes.
