I'm not going to [Announce] this as I don't feel it is worthy of such.

Anyway, I've been learning Java over the past couple of weeks, and to help me along the way I've been working on a little program which searches for, and downloads torrent files, something which my N900 has been lacking.

Right now, it only searches thepiratebay, and only downloads the actual .torrent file, but I'm hoping to get it working along side cTorrent to initiate and control the download. It is a little buggy, and there are improvements needed, but it does the job fine.

Anyway I've attached the jar (inside a zip) file in case any one finds something like this useful, it's written in Java so that may put off people from using it, but it works pretty well.
Obviously a JVM is needed for it to run, I'm using icedTea6 from the repositories.

to run, unzip file, open a terminal and type:
java -jar torrento.jar

Portrait works (but with Ctr-Sh-R at the moment)

File Type: zip torrento.zip (265.6 KB, 237 views)
