hmmm, I thought the MyDocs Folder is the home folder?
but you can access the whole file system over the XTerminal
to attach other Files then these in MyDocs, I would copy them to the home folder or create a symbolic linc (ln -s) with the terminal (basic linux knowleges needed)

the question was for etuoyo , so I know what he/she was trying to copy from /home/user , if he/she didnt know how to get in there.
and just FYI, you cant copy across different filesystems with that command , check my previous post
Also is there a way to make email app see the contents of your homefolder and not just the My Docs folder? I want to email some items not in the My Docs folder.
