Is there a way to keep the portrait mode enabled after closing the application?

With pr 1.2 if you press ctrl-shift-r the app rotates on screen rotation but as soon as you close the app and launch it again it needs ctrl-shift-r again to rotate portrait mode again...

thanks!

Same problem with browser fit-to-screen page rendering Shift+Ctrl+i, has to redo it over and over again..

he doesnt mean the browser, with the update many other applications work in portrait if you press those buttons, but its annoying having to do so every time. he wants to know whether there is a way to configure it just like with the browser

This is really irritating...
Emails, Contacts, App and File mangers and best of all PDF reader all work great in portrait mode.

If only you didnt have to hit Ctrl-Shift-R everytime...

I had the same thinking. There MUST be someone here who knows how to fix this.

Strange. It works as a toggle for me..

If I pick an app and press Ctrl+Shift+R, it enables portrait mode in that app.

Portrait mode remains enabled in that app until I press Ctrl+Shift+R again -- I can quit and restart the app as often as I like and portrait mode will remain enabled until I disable it with the keyboard command.

???
