Is there a way to delete or edit the existing Internet Radio bookmarks that come with the Media Player?

The menu only has the option to "add" bookmarks.

I tried editing the file /usr/share/pre-installed/mafw-iradio-source-bookmarks/bookmarks.xml to remove the unwanted bookmarks,..
I also tried deleting this file,..however the bookmarks still appear when I fire up the Internet Radio.

Thanks

Tap and hold on the bookmark gives you a menu with delete option.

  1. Open the MicroB browser
  2. Access an easy-listening radio stream (perhaps SomaFm's Christmas Lounge: http://somafm.com/play/christmas
  3. While enjoying relaxing music return to the web-radio bookmark page in Media Player
  4. Select-and-hold the radio station bookmark you wish to delete
  5. From the context-menu that appears select 'delete'
  6. On the dialog box that appears, select 'yes'
  7. Goto 4

I had to repeat steps 4 - 7 30 times or so, but at least the music playing was nice....

On your own risk.

sqlite3 /home/user/.mafw.db
>delete from iradiobookmarks;
>.quit
