Well, I've seen a lot of users asking for Android etc port to N900. So it made me wonder, do their forums do the same vise versa?

Android has been ported to run on the N900, quite good i might say, search the forums for Nitroid.
To get an answer to your question you might want to ask it in the correct place - Android device forums.

IIRC, Meego has been successfully installed and booted on a Nexus or something.

Maemo ports... yes, if you count Mer.
But this was prior to the introduction of Android 2.1, after that it was pointless.
Now there is MeeGo ports, but all that work is also pointless ever since the founding father disowned it. Android 2.3.5 with MIUI and root and busybox and custom software is where its at these days.
Personally, I can't wait until Qt is fully ported to Android 2.2 then it can be polished and implemented in the upcoming CyanogenMod = CM9 (IceCreamQTSammich)
