Hello
I just notice today that my screen has a big scratch
I always was very careful but somehow this happened...
So after the shock I read the service manual and fond out that there isn't any protective glass to change. So I need a touchscreen replacement. cheapest price i found was 50€ *shock*

Typing "n900 touch screen" on ebay I found a 18€ Touchscreen.
Anyone of you bought one of those? Do you think these are fakes? I would hate to spend 18€ on something that is not working as the original one.
And I need to change these damm expensiv screws...

Another option would be to use some wet sandpaper and to polish but I'm realy worried that this would damage my touch screen The bad thing is that i have the sandpaper just around

here comes the link:

I haven't bought it yet but i am thinking about it if it gets much worse. (i am not so careful)
anyway £24.95 seems like a pretty good price to me.

Got an answer from the guy selling it:
sorry friend
the item not original touch screen
So there is nothing you can't fake
Someone here brave enough to try?

I also ordered one from the UK.
That was original. From China. xD Like other parts of N900. It was about 48Ł.

And it works better than the original one.

@taril
So was it or wasn't it original?
What do you mean with "better than the original"?
