ok i must be missing something simple here. i can clearly see the options to change sort order when in 'images' or 'filemanager' folders...but when inserting (like email and fmms) there is no sort option (no menu bar) and the oldest photo (not latest) is the top of the list.??? can i change this to have most recent be default?

i see when you browse for an IM avatar it automatically sorts most recent first...so i must be missing something?

That's one of the standard Hildon dialogue boxes, which thankfully are open-source. Theoretically a Sort button could be added, maybe in the top-right of the dialogue.

I'm not sure why browsing for an IM avatar puts the latest at the top, though.
