So im thinking of biting the bullet and selling my n900 and probably buying a blackberry 9700, while I wait for the n8...so how much does a used n900 go for these days? Or it is a fair trade, since based on ebay sales, it would be just about even.

Any help appreciated.

I just bought a refurb unit for 340$ from ebay (can't wait to receive it).

Considering you can buy a new phone for 460$ in Amazon, I think something around this price should be fair for used/refurb units.

Yea, thinking $350 or thereabouts is the most I can get.

I'll be selling mine too, or giving it to my mom, so i wont bid you down. a little disappointed that the bugs in my footnote will never be fixed.

I've actually ran across a few "good condition" N900's for around $250 or so - I just couldn't purchase a recently purchased phone that looks worse than my rather well-used N810.

One had a gash on the battery cover that looked like it was stabbed and scratches on the screen like it had road rash...

Is 350 a good resale value?

That looks like a decent price, the Sale/Buy section here has used ones around there. Unless you plan to put it online somewhere else.

...and just make sure you don't stab it out of frustration like the one gerbick saw.
