My Nokia Suite 3.8.30 (on Win7/64bit) says that I can update the device software of my N900 to version 21.2011.38.1.

My questions are:
1. Will my installed programs still be installed and useable after the update?
2. At the moment I have version 20.2010.36-2. Does make an update make any sense after all?
