Hi,
I'm a newbie to N810 and I have no knowledge on most of the development applications to enhancement the N810 performance.
It seems very complicated if I try to get software to work on N810 of those I usually use on Win XP or Vista. It's too many steps and coding to modify after I download an application on this N810 to get it work or upgraded. Sigh...I don't have a clue. I'm not a programmer nor developer.

I would like to find out if any windows media player version (those for win XP/Vista) is compatible with N810. Cos there're couple of dictionary web sites use WMV format to hear the pronounication. And now I need to click two, three times to open N810's own player to play the prounication vs just one click to hear it.

Does anyone have an idea on this ? Thank you very much

mplayer should be able to play wmv and wma. you'll have to associate those mimettypes with mplayer via dbus-switchboard, though (search for it here in the forums)
