Before someone "kill me" ;-) , I explain: my idea is to carry the GPS navigation software for Chinese GPS devices, like iGO, for Nokia N810. I think it's easier to emulate WinCE (with support for internal GPS N810) than designing a new software navigational maps. It possible? The DosBox emulator runs WinCE system?

Oh yes, I tried maemo Mapper, but it is very confusing, unfortunately. A software for automotive navigation needs to be fast and easy to use. The Maaemo Mapper unfortunately not reached this level yet.

DosBox emulates DOS apps only. On a side note, Maemo Mapper is not confusing. In fact, it's one of the nicer apps around. You just have to be willing to tinker with it for a bit to understand it instead of just seeing its different and immediately giving up on it.

Hi Jay. In fact, VMWare developed the MVP version, and this version run on Nokia N810, running a real Android system "AND" Windows CE System, togeter. But VMWare only demonstrate this wonderful piece of technology, without provide download to Nokia´s users.

Someone have an copy of VMWare MVP software?

As a side note, there is a C# emulator for the n810.

http://www.mono-project.com/Maemo

Just take a C# desktop program, copy it over to your n810 and type "mono appname.exe" and you can now carry your C# apps on your device.

The problem is, NOBODY has a copy of that MVP software (and if they do, they are stingy.)

So, in fact, it is just like there is no MVP version at all.
