I've also managed to get it to run, but it also slow for me. I also did a tweek so I could run it off a partition on my SD card. Looks pretty cool. Worth much more experimentation

Ok, I've posted a follow-up that lets you run Meego Handset without using Easy Debian. Includes a new image and new scripts in the box!

thanks for your effort on this project, I will be sure to give this a try.

I am wondering how is the speed of this setup, how does it compare to a "native" MeeGo setup (such as the dual-boot one)?

i have problem with permission denied in x-terminal even while type sudo gainroot?
