Has anybody tried to run android on the N900. Not as a separate OS but rather in a Debian chroot environment.
It would be cool to look at some of the default apps of android run in the N900. Not apps from the app store .. But rather things like their mail client or calculator.

I guess not. I would like it just for the kindle app.

If it was, it would've already been considered by dj_steve and the other people working on NITDroid.

As for the specific reason, I believe it's because Android requires a different kernel that's incompatible with Maemo.
